Rear Passenger Door Lock Problem
I have a 2009 F150 FX4 Supercrew and found a problem late last night. The rear passenger door lock is not actuating when either the switch is pressed on the drivers side door (haven't tried the passenger side but will later today) or the key FOB is used.
After reading through other forms, I've seen common issues with the wiring being bent and severed. I looked at the wires and all appears okay. The accordion is straight. Also, I have reason to believe the actuator itself is working as I can hear a click when the door locks are actuated with my ear close to the door latch mechanism. The door can be locked by manually moving the stick coming out of the door up and down.
Is it possible the linkage inside disconnected from the actuator? Or is it likely the door actuator has failed but the clicking I'm hearing is something else entirely?

I also have a 2009 screw and have the same problem. Mine works when it wants to but usually has to be opened by hand. It doesn't have a problem locking just unlocking by remote or automatic lock.
