Default Is installing factory navigation on a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat worth it?

i purchased a factory navigation and installed it in my 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat. after install and driving for a day i realized that it does not have a speed sensor for the nav. i tried to use the bluetooth but does not have one. and the phone option is not available either. you have to purchase additional things for it. i thing its gonna be to expensive at the end. if there is another way please let me know. oh yea just remembered i had to purchase a antenna adapter too. to different inputs

How long are you going to keep the truck? Do you really need it? You are the only one who can answer if it is worth it.

For me, I like to have to everything working properly. I plan to have for a couple of years. If I knew that there where more things I have to spend money on, I would probably went aftermarket.

Where did you find the factory nav system. I just bought a 2011 fx4 and would love to get the nav system.

It's really all about the "wow" factor. It's cool, but my Garmin does about the same for $150. Now if the factory had more features, it would really be worth it.

We're getting a Kia with the nav, but it also has all the climate controls on the screen, bluetooth, and a bunch of other featurs that would be nice to have. I wouldn't get it simply for navigation.
