i purchased a factory navigation and installed it in my 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat. after install and driving for a day i realized that it does not have a speed sensor for the nav. i tried to use the bluetooth but does not have one. and the phone option is not available either. you have to purchase additional things for it. i thing its gonna be to expensive at the end. if there is another way please let me know. oh yea just remembered i had to purchase a antenna adapter too. to different inputs

For me, I like to have to everything working properly. I plan to have for a couple of years. If I knew that there where more things I have to spend money on, I would probably went aftermarket.

It's really all about the "wow" factor. It's cool, but my Garmin does about the same for $150. Now if the factory had more features, it would really be worth it.
We're getting a Kia with the nav, but it also has all the climate controls on the screen, bluetooth, and a bunch of other featurs that would be nice to have. I wouldn't get it simply for navigation.
