Default Raptor shocks on a f150?

So, has anyone tried or heard if the Fox Shox from a Raptor fit on a f150?

Wouldn't see why they wouldn't fit. The only difference is the truck width from what I heard. I was also wondering this....

Fox makes replacement shocks for the front with a 0-2" lift similar to the bilstein 5100 series. For models older than 09 they also make rear ones as well.

You won't get 12" travel from changing just the shocks, you would have to change all the suspension (control arms, cv's ect...) but you would probably gain ride quality and a little lift, they should fit but I might be wrong, not sure if the mount on the lower control arm is in the same location or not but I'd be willing to bet they would fit and it would be a great mod

Shocks are not designed for lift, they control the return motion only, if you go this route make sure the springs match. But if you do this then ya gotta change the control arms and stuff, the ride will be affected since you won't be using the full stroke of the spring rate. Swapping out shocks and springs is only half the job.

A lot of great information, thank you. I think this would make a great mod, I will be researching further on this.

Im not really sure what the point would be in putting the fox raptor shocks on a non-raptor truck...you would have better results and probably a lot less cost involved in just doing fox's upgrade kit.

I just have the opportunity to purchase a Raptor suspension for a good price.
