This keeps the pressure up on Ford to continue to do better.

The Ram isn't as nice, but it's come a long way, and around here, they are a few grand cheaper than a comparable f150.

Maybe they tested a 20113 with my ford touch..... LMAO

They also had push button shifters in the 50s, not too big of a deal to have a **** since it's all controlled by a computer anyways

The 2013 Ram 1500 was named Motor Trend Truck of the Year by the well known publication based on six criteria - Design Advancement, Engineering Excellence, Efficiency, Safety, Value and Performance of Intended Function – with only those trucks that are all-new or substantially different from the previous model year.

So it has nothing to do with making the best truck. It's about having the best mold for their criteria. Should it be called the truck of the year... NOPE

Exactly what I was thinking. I couldn't believe the Tesla won.

I have heard from reliable sources (not trumped-up by co. propaganda), that for quite sometime, the RAM trucks have experienced the highest percentage of warranty claims in the industry.

Leads one to wonder.....

A ram with a washing machine in the back pulled out in front of me the other week and when he accelerated the washer slid back about 2 feet and, if i saw correctly, bent the tailgate out lol. I couldn't imagine the tailgate on my ford ever doing that haha

I agree with you 100%. As soon as l saw that stupid shifter ****, l thought WTF is that???? That is a not for trucks. I'm sorry l may be old fashioned but, shifting gears using a **** is the dumbest thing l have seen. When l was looking at trucks, that **** turned me off so much that I wouldnt buy the truck just for that. I hope Ford never copies that dumb idea.

Man l love my F-150!!!!

Yes, the Ram 1500 has very poor crash ratings. In fact, it was named the most dangerous vehicle in America for 2012. I find it funny that MT mentioned that one of the reasons the 2013 Ram won was for "safety".
