Default Rain guards

Does anyone have any trouble with rain guards inserted? I'm about to get tint and I don't know of the guards on the inside of the window will mess them up at the top. I used to have a Jeep with rainguards and I noticed the top windows were scratched and I don't know if it was the rainguards or just dirt over the years.

Some people report problems with the in channel ones flying off or scratching the window, but most people have a good experience with them

The in channel guards attatch to the outside portion of the inner channel and Tint is on the inside of the window so there should be no issues at all. They will not touch at all.

Exactly this. If you use in channel vent guards and have tinted windows you will at some point get the scratches at the top of the window.

Regardless that this thread is 7years old ...

The channel vent guards are installed in the outside of the window's glass run and the window tint is installed on the inside of the window. MEANING: The window vent visor never comes in contact with the window tint.
