Radar setup

Default Radar setup

Around nov ill be getting the valentine one radar..want to find out if possible to run the power thru the mirror or something instead of the cig lighter.if any one has done it pls share...pics would be great as well. Dont want the hanging wires..

I tapped into the mirror using an Invisicord. Also have a V1 in each car. I bought the mini cord (smaller connectors). No pics right now, wife has the truck. It is very clean though.

I had one before and tried tapping into the mirror in one of my older cars. Had the keys clicked to accessory and pop! fried the V on accident I'd love another

I wired mine into the overhead console so it is powered on/off with the radio, etc., and wrote up an installation document with pics. Here is the link to it on this forum or if you pm me I can send you a file with higher resolution pictures.

My Escort 9500ix is ran to the passenger side fuse panel with a fuse tap. Works like a charm. Took me every bit of 5-7 minutes once I knew what fuse I wanted to run it to. Shove the line right at the top of the windshield and over, down the pillar and bam you're there.

These are the products I used for my radar.....I used the blendmount and the hardtap hardwire kit.

I will get some tonight for you. I had a blend mount in my Chevy but the Ford stem is a different size so it wouldn't work. Mine is up high where you can't even see it because I have a tint brow.
