Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I previously had a 18in magnaflow before, love the mellowness of it, I had dual going out the back. Then changed it to straight pipe. My first thought was getting another longer magnaflow but the main thing I'm worried about is drone just because the tips are right under the back right seat. That dynomax sounds awesome and might be what I'll get, and for that price it's awesome. Even thought about going OEM like anther post had said. Would still like some grunt, my brain just can't take any more sound deadining drone.

different animal all together, but I had a dynomax super turbo on my jeep cherokee a few years back along with a magnaflow hi-flow cat. it was probably the best sounding quiet exhaust I have ever had on anything.
it was barely louder than stock, but per independent dyno results was the best flowing cat-back available for the XJ cherokee, with gains down low where a jeep will use it instead of waaaaay up high in the rpm's where jeeps don normally go.
when cruising it was a tiny bit louder than stock, but it had a good tone to it. step down on it and it was obvious it was not stock exhaust, but still wasnt loud by any means.
I am curious about the dynomax VT. it sounds like a great idea, but I am leery of moving parts inside of a muffler. the condensation and heat cycles combined with a lack of lubrication or anyway to add lubrication sounds like a recipe for sticking/rusty parts.
