Default Question on paint cloud on new truck

Hey guys love the forum I've been reading for a while. Today I traded in my '13 for a new '16 Screw. When I got home I noticed what is shown in the picture. Has anyone here seen anything like this and are there any ideas on what it's from?

I'm going to call the dealer and see what their thoughts are in the morning. I'm a very understanding customer and understand #*%+ happens. Just wondering if any one Has seen it before. Search turned up nothing similar.

I tried washing the area and scrubbing it but the picture is the result. Maybe some kind of overspray or missed area perhaps. Hopefully it's an easy fix and I won't be without my new truck for long. This truck just came off the line Wednesday and was a custom build.

Thanks

Been painting a long time. Never seen that before. Can you feel it? Like you run your hands over it, and there's a texture difference? If not, it's under the clear. If so, it might be overspray, but like I said I paint for a living. I've never seen such perfect overspray before. Seems pretty obvious to just miss that while they were detailing/washing for delivery.

I didn't notice a different feel to it. Something I did notice is the way the water rolled off the rest of the paint but seemed to "sit" on the cloudy area longer than others.

It is very strange and unfotunate on my new truck. I didn't notice it when I left the lot. Thanks for your input -

I have two "clouds" on my 14s hood but they don't look exactly like yours but your truck is black. My truck is silver and didn't really notice it. Now I'm out of my bumper to bumper warranty. They are hard to see and kind of have to look at it at an angle. Haven't gotten bigger or anything. Water doesn't appear to do anything different on them either.

Some times it bothers me but oh well. If I have to get it painted later on, I will.
