Default question for anyone running a ranchhand brush guard

Found one on cl and i was talking to my cousin about it and he mentioned he had heard that these can cause damage to front bearings because of them being so heavy. Seriously, any of this legit?

I don't have one on my current F-150, but I had a RH brush guard on my two previous Tahoes with no issues... They are not that heavy. If they caused that big of an issue, they wouldn't be put on.

I had one on my 05 from several years ago and never had any issues with the front bearings. If anything, maybe a full replacement but I highly doubt it.
