You missed the BIG FLICK! I stated that if the recommend pressure is in the 30s then P rated tires were on the truck new and in the 40s LT tires. The maximum inflation pressure is not listed on the door sticker. It is a mute point for this discussion. The OP was asking about P versus LT not max. pressure and load rating.

OP Quote: Would I be okay with getting passenger tires instead of Light Truck Tires? I see that pepboys have some passenger tires $90 each 265/70/17 with good reviews. Please help. Thanks.

Sorry if I bruised your intentions here....You & I are only trying to help & it is our opinions!! the Op was asking what is stated above ...nothing stated about "LT" tires & I thought your wording would be misleading & confusing to his question.....He used the term light truck tires.......(I took that as the XL rated tires)............
You stated "LT" tires....I took that as the designation of heavier tires which is in their size description (LT275/70/17 etc)
Tipically we all aren't full fleged tire / service people & the Op took responsibility & asked a question to find out.....& I thought better clarification was needed....
I spent many years in tire shops....what I've really learned is the public dose not know & it is the service advisors responsibility to advise responsibly!!
WE both were trying here..."Good-Day"
