I currently have the stock mirrors (blinker and heated) on my 05.

I am going to upgrade to tow mirrors except they will not be heated or have the blinker.

Since my truck is already wired for the blinkers on the mirrors, I am going to do my own custom blinkers for the new tow mirrors.

My question is, does anyone know what the wiring color code is for the blinker/heated mirrors on the 05?

Would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

Not sure if you've already sourced the mirrors or not, 1A Auto (a vendor here I believe) had some tow mirror kits available for various years.

I believe they came with marker lights, blinkers, heated mirrors, and power fold but manual telescope.

Yea I actually came across their site. Not bad pricing, but I just want the regular mirrors anyway and add my own unique green LED turn signals.

 

I noticed some aftermarket tow mirror suppliers offer turn signal function on 05-07 trucks with confirmation from owners who had done it. Might be worth a bit of google research.

 

Yes but I have something custom in mind so i'll just get the stock tow mirrors
