Default Question about driving your f150

So I just bought a f150 screw 4x4 with the 20 inch wheels. And I was just curious if anyone has any experience with parking garages? The main question is will it fit? I really dont feel like wedging my f150 in the local mall parking garage when its only a few days old? Any help would be appreciated.

not sure but if you get stuck, when the cops show up just tell them you were delivering this parking deck but ran out of gas!

Find out the height limit and you will have your answer!

I used a level across the roof of my 2010 Platinum 4X4 (stock 20" wheels) and measured the distance from my garage floor. 6' 5". Many parking garages have signs for 6' 5", but I'm not going to test that. I did find a parking garage with 6' 8" clearance, and I have about 3" clearance in that garage. But the stock radio antenna will drag, so I replaced it with a shorty antenna. I also make sure my moon roof is closed.

Anything less than 6' 8" clearance and you're on your own.

Mine fits in a hospital parking garage with 7' clearance. Thats the only parking garage Ive been in with it though.

Its kinda scary driving in there because youre so close to the roof it looks like youre gonna hit.

Your 20 inch wheels don't make the truck any taller......there's just an inch less sidewall (one at the top and one at the bottom) of the tire. Overall circumference probably changes very little from the stock 18's.....

There's this new invention out there. It's called a tape measure.
