Default Question about differentials

I just swapped my rear differential. 2011 F150 3.5 Platinum. Yard that sold me the replacement (off a 2010 truck) assured me its a match. Truck drives fine with no issues. The axle sticker on the original says S932L. The replacement says S932E. Does anyone know what is the difference. There is nothing out there that tells me what it is.
Thanks in advance

There are more numbers and letters on the sticker. What are they? The E and the L could be something as simple as manufacturing line.

if you don't have the means to activate the electronic locker, it don't mean anything, and you didn't verify gearing?

probably would've been a good idea to familiarize yourself with axle markings rather than trusting a junkyard to confirm 'identical'

The E or the L goes between the ratio numbers. Like 3L55 or 3E73.

Yep. Big mess up. You would lots rather have the limited slip, especially in winter.
