Default question

is a raptor bed and a regular f150 bed, 5.5 ft, exactly the same, as far as the dimensions and bed rail caps go? the reason i ask is im looking at bed covers, and some of them say they wont fit a raptor. is there a difference?

To best answer your question your best option would be to Google for a "Body Builders Layout Book" (PDF) for the model year of your Raptor.

If you get a soft top or a cover that mounts in between the bed rails you'll be good. You can have fitmeant issues with a hardtop that extends over the bed because the raptor bed is slightly wider on the outside of the bed and depending on the top used may not fit, some of those glass covers extend several inches over the side where they could have fitmeant issues however internal measurements of the bed should be identical. If I can ill suggest a truxedo soft cover, love ours.
