Shouldn't be a problem. Pretty sure any motor before 08 was designed to run on pure gas. Nothing against ethanol, other then It's taking food to make it... Funny how there's an ethanol plant in the next town over but none of our has stations have it

Unless I have been completely wrong my whole life, running pure 87 octane is BETTER for it than 10% ethanol.. I won't even put the 10% crap in my 2000 5.4. The engine wasn't made for it, not to mention it hurts your mileage.

It should be. But with the gov. supplementing the production it cost less at the pump. I remember back in the 70's when they took lead out of the gas, unleaded cost more than leaded, they were charging for not putting it in. Got to make you think...

The purpose of taking the lead out was very simple.

Lead is a nasty toxin, and coming out of the tailpipe of vehicles it's an even nastier toxin.

The lead wasn't merely removed, it was replaced with a different additives package which was (and is) more expensive.

Yeah, the only gas around that has lead in it is for airplanes. it is called avgas, or 100LL. it means 100 octane low lead. And there is a push to get rid of its lead content too..
