Diesel smoke is just unburnt fuel. When they do that all they are doing is burning their money

And spewing carcinogens. Trust me, I know about the studies done on diesel exhaust and it's affects on firefighters. That's all our trucks have. So if a truck with the proper exhaust system is causing cancer issues then what do you think one spewing black smoke out is doing?

Ok so after reading, a little bit of truth and facts might be in order... First all of our trucks would run better on a NON-Ethanol added fuel, better gas mileage and runs better... It does not run cleaner because of ethanol just a little different by product from burning and there is no credible evidence thats says it is better for us. Second Ethanol production has no effect on the amount of cattle feed available, cattle lack the ability to digest ethanol and removing it from the corn based feed is better for them. After removing ethanol from corn you have what is sold as high yield feed, means cattle dont make as big a terd after digestion, they are able to metabolize more of the food. Ethanol does not break loose things in our vehicles, it breaks down rubber and or petroleum based products. Thats why flex fuel vehicles cost more to make, you have to have no rubber in the fuel system where it comes in contact with the fuel. As it stands now it takes more BTU's to produce it than you can get from it, hence taxpayer money being used to pay for it to happen.... So we can then be taxed for its use and taxed for it to be made, the cycle continues.....

Distillers grains are actually worse for cattle because of the high sulfates. The claim that cattle can't digest regular corn right depends on how it's fed. The best 2 are silage with a good kernel processor or ground fine. Ethanol is not in corn, it's produced through a process of bacteria, etc.

I am exactly right I have to listen and get lectured by the top guy in the industry everytim I do a service call at the parent company, I listen to him drag on for hours... There is zero impact on cattle feed by ethanol the final product is better for cattle and, lord hours and hours of anerobic systems and how they work.... but in the end ethanol is bad when added to fuel and corrodes rubber etc...

Maybe you're right about the feed being there, but it is affecting the cost of said feed. My dad raises cattle and the feed has gone skyward since this whole ethanol garbage started. My brother is high up in the chain at one of the largest poultry companies in the U.S., he knows how the ethanol issue is affecting corn prices. It almost bankrupted the company.
