I have my new front end and i really like the looks of it...but all i have to do is drive 100 miles down the road and white front end looks like a bug fest... but I aint trying to copy noone but i know what looks good and i thought the idea of LT door handles was good...the mirrors same color is good too. The only thing keeping me from jumping all over it is BUGS....
Man they show up on white...but i love white when it is clean and shiny.

Well my previous set of wheels and tires (Helo Maxx 6's & Pro Comp Xtreme AT's) were stolen while my truck was in the shop getting repaired a couple of months ago. The good news is I got to go new wheel & tire shopping on the repair shop's dime.

Come to find out though they tried to put in a secondary claim with my insurance company claiming the wheels & tires had been damaged in the accident. Of course State Farm denied the claim because they had already seen the vehicle and knew that to be false.

I love white vehicles (have owned several of them) but they are almost as bad as black when it comes to keeping them clean. If I had a white F-150 I would only get the caps of the mirrors painted. The black left over gives the truck some very nice contrast.

Yeah went to the shop with wheels and tires. Funny thing is they caught everything on video surveillence and I even have it on my TIVO from a local news story. I can now watch my wheels and tires being stolen from my truck and driven away every night right from the comfort of my living room every night if I want to. That's ok though because I like the new setup alot better.

LMAO! Are you serious...TiVo??? That's hilarious! But at least you got the better end of the deal and some new wheels. That's a hell of a way to get there, though...

The guy at the shop quoted me $300, but I ended up getting them painted for free. I was supposed to get the inside bed painted for free since the shop had put some scratches in it while they had it for repairs. I told the guy he could skip the bed (honestly 99% of those scratches were there before the shop got ther truck) if he would do the mirrors for free.

I was talking to a guy on another board and he took his mirrors off and did all the prep work (sanding them down, priming) himself and took them to the shop for painting and clear only and the shop charged him $25 per mirror. May want to check into something like that if you don't want to pay a big bill. Remember though everything's more expensive out ehre in Hawaii so I wouldn't expect your entire bill to be $300 even if you do nothing.

Also if I had your truck I'd only do the mirror caps and leave some black for contrast. I think that would look better than doing the whole mirror PTM.

I know they have the stick on chrome pieces for these trucks (not that I'd put that ricer crap on my truck), but not sure about white pieces. Take it to a shop and have them sand it down and paint it or do the prep work (sanding & primer) yourself and save some money. I didn't do my own so I can't really be of any help in giving step by step procedures, only advice on getting it done.
