professing LOVE to my F150

Just wanted to post another positive thread.. My truck has been sitting covered with a Noco genius maintainer on the battery since before Christmas in single digits temps and today fired her up and drove to work. I wanted to say in those conditions. (8 degrees this morn) there was NOT A SINGLE rattle, squeak, moan, NOTHING driving to work. This truck is really screwed together! no odd shifting, no idle issues, no nothing. It ran like it was 80 degrees and like it was running every day.

God, Ford has done such a great job on the F150's

No, no, no.... Your truck is lulling you into a false sense of security. It's just waiting for the right time to develop more problems then you can shake a stick at....

Read the forum and our trucks are self destructing faster then a Yugo on steroids. Lucky if you can make it to work without some mechanical disaster!

So just you wait because you are driving a truck full of problems simply looking for a place to happen.......... :icon_rolleyes:

I too find it sort of amazing that with much of the truck just snapped and clipped together as it is, I've never heard the slightest rattle or squeak anywhere, under conditions from +95 to -20 degrees F. I keep waiting for something annoying or unusual to happen, but it hasn't happened yet.

How do you like the Noco products? I've been considering replacing my rather large old Duracell booster pack with one of their lithium-ion units.

I use them on 4 of my cars 24/7. Been using Noco maintainers (1100 and 3500) for about 10 years with great luck

Those are some nice looking chargers, I just use the cheap battery tender ones on my ATV and the car that sits during the winter months.......You just made me spend more money lol, think I will get 2 3500's

Great choice. When the 2 1100's get old and die off(will that ever happen??) I will be replacing em with 3500's.

LOL... I doubt those that are driving around with their doors held closed with bungee cords or IWE failures, driveline vibrations, misaligned doors, chattering weatherstripping, inoperative washer fluid lines... would agree.

I love my truck so much that I was secretly excited to find that my commuter car developed an oil leak and just wasn't safe for me to drive to work until I get it fixed.

Unfortunately, I'll get it done on my day off on Monday.
