Pricing help on XLT
Hi,
I'm looking at buying a '14 XLT Supercrew 2WD with 302A package, HID, Leather, V8 with 3.55 Electronic rear lock diff.
What would be a good price to offer (rebates included)? they have about 140 2014 F150 on the lot (California)
Thanks

Crank it throug Truecar
Pay attention to the incentives available to you. You can do quite well if you are a military veteran, law-enforcement official recent college graduate who is financing through Ford Credit and also a member of the American Quarterhorse Association, who is turning in a leased dodge but who also owns another Ford.....
Check with the Sam's Club or other buying service available to you. In my case the shipping fee would have eaten up the savings, but I ended up offering the local dealer the Sam's price plus half the shipping fee and they (grudgingly) accepted. It was left of the bell curve they show on Truecar, by the way and I watched for a couple of months and it never showed up.
Trying to squeeze the last $200 out of the price just isn't worth it. You don't have to get the rock bottom price. Just come close.
P.S. I'm serious abut the AQHA. They make you belong for a few months before you claim the rebate, but anyone who is in the tire kicking stage might want to consider it. You get a nice magainze for the end table if nothing else.
p.p.s. No need to discuss your research with the dealer. Ask them if they "can get me into" the car for $X out the door.
