It's part of the "Lion" family of diesel engines that are used in Range Rovers

$4000 is a pretty steep premium. On the other hand, it's cheaper than the 502A equipment group.

The half ton diesel market exists, but they're as annoying as vegans that vape and do crossfit.

??? No market? Ram couldn't keep up with orders at first and now Ford and Chevy are following suit. How is there no market for a truck that will get approximately 30mpg and be able to tow around 11k pounds?

I'm not trying to stir the pot - I have a legit question: My impression has always been that the least reliable vehicle on the road is a Land Rover. Anyone know whether their engines are junk? I cannot imagine Ford betting on a loser. Especially not on their flagship truck.
