Default Powered Moon roof

Looking to install the panoramic powered moon roof which is optional on the new trucks, in my 2012. Long shot question, but does anyone know the part number and manufacturer of the factory installed moon roof?

There's a lot of aftermarket things I'd install in my truck, but a moonroof/sunroof isn't one of them. You're just asking for it to leak. If you gotta have one, I'd suggest buying a truck that came with one from the factory.

It's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but if you want a 2015+ Panoramic roof there is one on eBay for $1000.00 out of a wrecked Lariat.
They do not include the part numbers in the description, So I can't help you with that.

You could probably get the part# off www.fordparts.com just do a search in the body section for the year model that they offer it for. As for who makes it? gok, Ford maybe?

It has been my experience that they won't show the actual part number until you have made the purchase....I just looked and the glass alone is over 800.00 for one piece and 900.00 for the other...not counting the frame, deflectors, etc.

Edit: I guess buying the whole unit off of eBay IS cheaper than trying to piece it together from Ford

Why are you addressing me? I have no interest in doing this mod, the OP does.

I simply gave a suggestion where they might begin to look for parts when everyone else in this thread, (yourself included) are doing everything EXCEPT answering their question.

Unable to find the part number and manufacturer of the OEM installed unit. I have contacted a few sunroof installers and they can get something close, but not quite as large. They arent cheap, and I did not expect them to be, but they are cool.

I found it, just the glass is almost $2g, another $1g for the frame and several hundred for all other related parts, then comes labor.

Best bet is aftermarket if you wish to go that route.
