Polished a turd!

I have tried and it works fine, price is right. It's got steel planetary gears and a series wound motor, not a cheap permanent magnet version. They give an incredible warranty and they were amazing as far as customer service was concerned. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend them to anyone.

Speaking of polishing, the local Ford dealer called me and asked me if I wanted this thing. Obviously not a Ford, but the guy traded it in and then decided to fix a few scratches with a spray can before he dropped it off. I wish I'd taken pictures from before, but I had to wet sand the whole truck with 2000 grit and polish it out. Things loaded, even heated leather seats. It's got a 4.3 auto with 160,000 kms (100,000 miles) and I gave them $3500 for it, should be an easy money maker!

This includes a complete rebuild on the front end, ball joints, u joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, brakes (calipers, rotors and lines), hubs (pick and pull Warn premiums). Also has all new shocks, rear brakes (drums, wheel cylinders, pads and e brake cables) and new exhaust. $217 ebay winch, horse traded canopy and box liner. A few interior parts (colours aren't perfect but who cares) and here's the new winter beater. Now I don't know what to do, sell it and build another one I guess.
