Please help !!! Wheels don’t fit !

Hello, I just purchased a set of 17 inch bead lock wheels off a 2019 Ford raptor. I put them on my 2016 f150 with a lift kit, not 100% sure what size lift, it had it when I bought the truck. The tires seem to clear but my tie rod it coming into contact with the wheels

in the front. Would you guys recommend spacers for the fix ? And if so what size spacers ?
thanks for any help.

Got any pics of the contact?

Yea a picture of the issue at hand would better help us. If it’s not too bad of contact, like you only need a few millimeters. Some uniball tie rods could help because they are a lot slimmer in design.

We might need to see a picture or two.
Pro Tip. Hold you phone level and in landscape mode (wider than taller). It's impossible to see anything on some wonky-*** rotation.

If you have a legitimate lift kit, a 17" wheel will not fit at all. The replacement parts included in a kit are not compatible with 17's.
If you have a level kit (spacer or a Fox/Bilstein coilover level system, then we'll need pictures to see what.
What size tire is installed on the truck now from the picture? There seems to be a fair amount of fender gap. If you have a 3" spacer kit, like a Rough Country, it's possible the upper control arms are too short, pulling the wheel inward, introducing a contact point.

Please take nice pictures of the suspension system. When you squat down to take a picture, orient your phone as you see fit then touch the screen over the part you want us to see. For example, touch the screen over the steering knuckle. This way, the knuckle won't be buried in a shadow from under the truck. Not trying t osound like a photo snob, but when we look at lousy pictures every day, it's nice to just request the correct picture from the get-go.
If possible, also take pictures of the knuckle with the wheel removed.

Also pictures of the undercarriage near the transmission cross-member may be helpful to see if your frame components have been altered to fit in brackets included in a lift kit. That is the tell tale sign, most definitely.

This is the first I've heard of Raptor wheels interfering with the tie rod. The Raptor wheels only have 11/100th's additional backspacing. Sounds like you are running aftermarket spindles, may need to use spacers. I'm running 17" wheels with 3/100th's less backspacing than Raptors, and there is plenty of room.

Thanks you guys for your help so far. Sorry about the lack of pictures, it was getting late at work and had to remove the wheels back off, I will get some more ML picture to you guys today, so you can get a better visual, thanks again

Heres a couple photos of under the truck and where the tire rod is making contact on the wheel. Thanks for any help.

With some lifts, yours looks like 4", 17" wheels won't work, as you found out. 18" up are needed. By using spacers, you might move the tires/wheels so far out to clear that tierod end, you might start rubbing else where.
Not what you wanted to hear, I know.

Glad to see you're getting it sorted out.

If you really want your wheels to work (preferably without spacers) take a look into uniball tie rods. They are on the expensive side. But it looks like it could give you enough clearance to run your 17s.
