Thumbs up Please help.....lift question

OK...SO CHECK THIS OUT.......2004F-150 STX......2 wd "BASIC" truck and with that said, i could sit here for hours, as i have and read the pros and cons on EVERY lift version one could do. IM A MECHANIC BY DAY BUT KNOW CRAP ABOUT THE "BEST" SCENERIO TO GO WITH. my thinking is a AS leveling kit with a 3"body. The body MIGHT be later down the road but for sure the leveling kit.....like......yesterday. I've read so many negatives about the 2.5" and the 3" combined about coil rubs, angles, tie rod crap, AND SOME PEOPLE WHO RESPOND BUT SEEM CLUELESS PERIOD, blaablaablaa. I KNOW ITS "PERSONAL PREFERENCE" BUT ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!?!?!?! Its an everyday driver so the most i pull might be the trailer with my lawn mower or the rain drops on the topper. REGARDLESS....dont care for a suspension or coilovers or money grabbers for i dont need it. JUST WANT THE RUGGED LOOK. PLEASE SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

I'd go with a 2.5" leveling kit and if you want to make it more aggressive looking, maybe some 33" all terrain tires. Leveling kits are really popular where I live, but if you don't feel comfortable with the 2.5" because of the angles and geometry changes, then just go with the 2".

i appreciate it.......i dont mind the 2.5 personally. its just u hear some say they never have problems and some say they do. its just hit or miss i guess. would a 2.5 and 1" blocks in the rear be decent or just the 2.5 "LK".....tires and rims will def. come next.

I'd just do the LK. With the 1" block in the back the truck will still nose dive and take away from the aggressive look. Any idea what kind of tires? I recommend Nitto Terra Grapplers for an all terrain.

That would look sick. What size tires? 33s. I like the look of 35s though.
Here's some pics.
Truck 1 is a buddies: 2.5" leveling kit, 18" ford lariat rims, 35" trail grapplers.

Truck 2: 2.5" leveling kit, stock FX4 rims, 35" trail grapplers.
