Default plastic adhesive film for protecting decals. Such a thing?

The title pretty well says it, I'm looking to protect some exterior decals from the elements. Can anybody suggest a good product?

Usually veh decals have a coating on them to protect them from the elements. You can go to a sign shop and they will have a clear film that you can put over top. Or any dealer/detailer will have that plastic film that is applied to the front of the veh to protect from stone chips

yeah I had this done last service. I find it a bit foolish that they don't ask you if you'd like to be a rolling billboard for their dealership before slapping their decals on your brand new vehicle.

I plan to remove ALL decals.

I find it a bit foolish that Ford doesn't ask you whether you'd like decals or not when you order a truck.
