Sync services was free as well. I've had my 11 since 11 and always had sync services for free. I went to ask something and said my subscription was out. So I looked and low and behold $60 I've used it for directions a few times vehicle health report ect

How do they take your money? or did you sign up for it... I read where trucks come with 3 years free... 60 after that..

Are you talking about the use of the navigation services?

I've never had Sync Services. I bought my truck in July of 2013 new and was never given Sync Services for free. It was $60 a year out of the box for me. I never paid it.

I did notice it was only "free" for 3 years for certain models. I guess my XLT without MyTouch didn't qualify for the free service.

I haven't checked in a while, but I want to say Sync Services isn't connected to your vehicle, but your phone/phone number. You can get the phone number in your call history on your phone after making the call through your car or truck. After that you can call them outside of your car, in your house, your friends Chevy/Dodge/Bmw..., etc.

I found this out because my '10 Fusion's subscription went out about 8 months before I bought my new '13 F150. Once I registered my number with the truck on the sync my ride website my Sync Services works in both my vehicles now.
