I vote the same, you should be pulling fuses one at a time until the draw is gone. If you don't ever get a stoppage, then you have a short to ground most likely before the fuse panel.
Must be a short to ground then as I went through both fuse boxes.

Forget about "hot"... just look for the smoke!

10A from a 12V circuit...you ought'a be able to trace it by looking for the arc from the welding rod!!!

if you had a short to ground before your fuse box your cables would be melting.

When you first apply voltage to the truck, don't various lights turn on? Also, drained caps, like in a subwoofer amp will appear as a short until they are charged. Really, the way to do it is with a switch with leads, across the meter leads which are in series with battery cable. Then open the switch. This will leave the lights alone, and keep any caps in various power supplies charged.

The auto electrician says there is no large draw. Watching the videos on people looking for parasitic draws they would unhook the negative battery cable terminal and then hook up the volt meter leads from the terminal to battery which is the incorrect way of doing it. He says you have to keep voltage applied the whole time when detaching the terminal from the battery with a jumper pack and then hook up the voltage meter leads to measure the draw otherwise the vehicle sees the initial connection and has a 15 amp power draw. The way the videos showed how to do it may work for older vehicles or possibly different models, but not for this truck. Still not sure why the battery was going dead yet, but that is a different issue than what I was concerned about with the large draw.
