Pano Roof Glass Warped
I recently learned the glass in my roof is warped causing it to not seal correctly and leak water into the vehicle. Has anyone else heard of this? I have a 2015 Lariat.

How is it possible that the glass is warped? I've never heard of that.

Could have been warped at the factory and the adhesive used finally is letting go. I hate the fact that my new F150 has the Pano roof. Just a regular sun roof would have been fine.:censored:

Agreed. Service tech said it's rare but he's seen it before. He said possibly the glass was too thin and warped over time.
They're having to replace both panels and tracks, but it makes me nervous it'll happen again in the future. And no, Ford isn't paying for 100% of it, but they are paying for 75%. I'm wondering if all the people who complain of the leaking roof have the same problem. |
That is safety glass (tempered) it would shatter long before it warped. They are full of crap. Most likely the tracks or roof metal is warped.

Glass can warp in the heat grating process. |
But would it warp over time on the truck? It's bizarre this is just now happening.
**The dealer replaced the tracks and motor in Jan 2017, but not the glass. |

So then it sounds like it has been defective this entire time and never rained hard enough to leak. Bizarre but I guess it’s possible. |
