Default Pandora Going Haywire

For the last two weeks or so whenever I get into the truck my phone starts playing Pandora on its own. It does it even before I take the phone out of my pocket!

I haven't updated my trucks software. I have updated my phone software around the same time. Going into my phone settings doesn't show anything awkward or set differently.

Anyone else having this issue?

No issues here but I rarely use Pandora any more, Slacker Radio is much better.

Maybe it's because that's what was played last? Try playing regular music and see if it defaults back to pandora the next time you get into the truck. That, or delete the app and download it again. Also try pulling the negative terminal on the battery to reboot MFT. It needs that every once in awhile, I've already done it once on mine (1200 miles on the truck) because the touch screen beep stopped working. 30 seconds to pull the battery terminal and it's perfect again.

Pandora has been so saturated with 1 and a half minute ads every second song that you are pretty much forced to pay for the premium account. I use Songza. It's free, and plays excellent tunes.

I'm out of the country and don't have my truck with me but Pandora has started playing by itself on my Samsung cell at least twice in a one week period. Don't have that phone with me so not sure if it is still happening.

Hello Funkdawg & EODK9Trainer,

Try looking under your Pandora SETTINGS>ADVANCED, then uncheck the Bluetooth box under the BLUETOOTH FOR AUTOMOTIVE section.

Thanks for the advice. When this is happening, the last source from the radio is usually the Sirius stations. Enjoying them all while I can since I don't plan on subscribing after the free trial.

So far, it's only happening when I get into the truck. Other than that, it never comes on when I'm just going about my day.

I just did this setting change and will try it in a few minutes to see if this solves the issue. Thanks for the advice.

That setting change seems to have solved the problem. I'll be sure to post up if it reoccurs.

Thanks for the replies!
