What are some of the things on your past vehicles that you miss ?
And what new options could you do without ?
Mine are vent widows....I miss those
And the one I could do without is auto lights.

The side vent windows is a good one.
-not having a catalytic converter with all the crapola that goes with it like O2 sensors, trims, etc.
-the roomy uncluttered engine bay with just the engine, battery and air cleaner.
-the places on the dash to mount after market electronics like CB,s, etc.
-no seat belt police enforcement. Had a police road stop here just a couple days ago.
-one size fits all anti freeze.
-hard to say but i miss the simplicity of being able to fix a carberator'd engine albeit a love/hate kind of thing.
-not having to drop the fuel tank to replace a fuel pump.
-only a few sensors compared to the dozens in modern vehicles.
-basically not much emissions stuff.
-no stop/start BS
What i really miss is being able to fix these latest computerized vehicles myself.

I miss my auto climate control. I traded in an '05 Expediton with all the options for a '13 F 150 XLT off road. Doesn't have the climate, but does have the bluetooth radio, guess it's a good trade off. Also don't have heated or cooled seats like the Expedition had, but with cloth now, probably won't need them anyhow.

Being able to splice a 12 volt accessory wire into pretty much any wire you could find under the dash . The biggest back issue then was did I want it to switch off with the key. Now I dont DARE try to tap into anything.
