Sorry to tell you your included warranty is not bumper to bumper. ESP is "Extended Serivce Plan" and you have to purchase it.

"There are 4 types of ESP Plan coverages. The plans range from 29 key components covered to 1000+." ....this from Ford web site.

The plan I have covers everything except tire, brakes, wipers, oil and filters. I have the paperwork from the dealer, that's all I need to know.

You don't have a 10 year warranty.. And I meant Premium Care Warranty sorry. Open your brochure and read again. The longest Ford warranty is 7yr/125k. And that includes your current 3/36k bump/bump warranty. Check with your dealer.

What you fail to understand is no one has a 3/36 bumper to bumper unless they purchase it.
Yes I do have a 10 year, Im looking at it.
I'm done.

Then you didn't buy a Ford warranty. It may be a better or worse warranty, buy it isn't Ford. Odds are it is worse, but that may not be true.

And the 3/36 really is what is considered bumper to bumper. Sure there are exclusions for tires, brakes, oil. But those are wear items only partially warrantied under the 3/36. They are warrantied against defects, not wear.

What he said!! we are just trying to offer you some info about the FORD Premium Care warranty. You might have something else, but I hope you don't think you got a 10 year Premium Care warranty.

I've got an '11 Eco with 58000 km. No issues with the engine what so ever. I did take preventative measures early on and regapped the plugs. Also managed to talk them into changing the CAC ( I had the slight shudder at 55) only thing that removed the shudder is 89+ octane and the regapping. Still get it rarely if running 87 but it's not worrisome at all. Just to be clear, mine has never gone into limp mode from the engine. It did once when a solenoid went on the transmission.
I have a ton of confidence in this engine.

Sure we do...its 3/36 for the first three years when purchased new...bumper to bumper.
(as for the brakes, oil, tires, etc. any fool who has purchased more than 1 vehicle in his/her life knows this isn't included)
Of the million or so trucks out there...i'm probably the only one who has this factory warranty.

Thank you all for your feedbacks. Perhaps, this thread should call as “how often did you experiencing EcoBoost engine trouble with sudden loss of power during driving/hauling in the rain/humiditycondition. I didn’t meant to be comparebetween Eco Boost and 5.0 V8 engine. Iwas looking to see how offend this issues occur and how to remedy the situation.

Nonetheless, I had decided to go with Eco Boost. I started out with F-150 XTL model in mind; and I end up with F-150 FX4 model with sticker prices around $51,200 instead. I am definitely spend more than I original had in mind.
