OMG my co-worker has been talking about the new Ford Sho. I told him it was a taurus sho but he didn't want to believe me. Anyways, he was saying he was going to trade in his chevy avalanche for one of them. He is all talk though. No matter what I am swinging I always beat him on mayo shell road. Now if he got the new Sho he would so have a chance.
And unlike the idiotic commercials the proper way to pronounce it is not "Taurus "Show" ", its "Taurus "Ess-Aach-O"...

Well I always pronounced it as sho seeing as my nick name was always Sho Shinjo. Corny yes but it's what I went by. Also known as Shoshi. Short for Sho Shinjo :P

Congratulations on your purhcase! I don't think anybody will hate you for not buying a ford - as one other poster said Ford has a share in Mazda (not a majority share anymore though - they sold a lot of it off to raise some cash before the meltdown). In fact the ford fusion is the same chassis as the mazda6.
I like the car - the only thing that bugs me is having a 160mph speedo - I know some people are going to soup up their cars and stuff but it just bugs me because at highway speeds the needle is barely past a third of the gauge.

Ford basically owns Mazda. It would be like saying the Ford family doesnt own Ford because they only own 20% of the shares...
