Odd parking garage problem...need advice
I've been parking for work in a 6'5 ramp for over a year with my 2014 XLT SCREW. The ramp owners just changed their clearance bar at the entrance and I no longer clear it. I was able to clear in the past and I clear everything in ramp just fine (the exit is tight but I fit).
Long story short, I have asked them to readjust the bar which I'm not holding my breath on them doing.
What can I use to either A) prevent the clearance bar from scratching my roof or B) move the bar while I'm still driving under it?
Thanks and looking forward to everyone's creativity.

I believe the IBC code is 7 feet.
Research and and present your case to the owners.

“Typical minimum required overhead clearances are 8’-2” for van accessible parking spaces, and 7’-0” for typical spaces and other accessible spaces. In multi-level parking structures, van accessible parking spaces are permitted to be grouped on a single level.”

If they hung it with chain link, get a couple S hooks and adjust it yourself.

Measure the bar if it is less than 6'5" raise it, if it is the right height looks like it is time to lower your truck or find a new spot to park since I myself don't want to have to deal with the hassle of raising the bar everyday to get in.

For instance, here in Vegas, note the Amendments. If a hotel or mall here wants lower standards for garage height, they get it.
Effective February 4, 2019, the Clark County Department of Building and Fire Prevention has adopted the 2018 International Building Codes. All permit applications(except standard plans) filed from this date forward must adhere to the 2018 Building Codes. Below are local amendments to the adopted codes.

Another reason why it may have been lowered is because they are planning on doing some work somewhere inside which may lower the height clearance. Also as far as clearance codes are concerned, you must look at what the codes were when the structure was built, not what they may be now. If the structure was built in the 60's or 70's, you can't expect them to raise each floor to comply with today's codes.
