OBD Trouble Codes
Hi i am trying to find a master list of trouble codes that i can post onto a website. For example the codes in my manual apply to a 1997-2003 F150. For my use i would want the codes that apply to any F150 from 1997. Is that type of information allowed to be shared on a master list like that? Would Ford allow that or do they "own that information" and im not allowed to share it?
The text that you have entered is too long (226263 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long.
There were hundreds of codes.
This is a basic list of codes, but the service manual has many, many more.

I'm just guessing here, but OBDII became the law for all vehicles sold in the US in 1996. A 1997 should be using OBDII. So, any codes are part of the standard and not owned by any manufacturer. They should also be standard between brands, though not all brands implement all sensors at all times.
If you have an unknown code, just post it it google and you will quickly find out what it is.
Or am I way off base for the question?

Am i allowed to post that information on a website or is there some type of copyright from Ford?
