This morning before I left for work I put in 35 psi on all 4 tires and when I came back I got these numbers. It was just me in the truck. Plus it was 50 outside.

Accuracy is within a pound for most people. Driving should raise them 2-4 pounds after a while. Your tire gauge may be off slightly.

TPMS systems are not dead on ***** accurate. I can fill my tires in the Jeep and check the TPMS monitor and it will be off a pound or two. Plus if one side or tire is in the sun it will raise the psi (just like driving it). Finally as mentioned above most tire gauges are also not perfectly accurate. The cheaper the gauge the less accurate it can be. I go with the tire gauge and generally ignore the TPMS unless it shows something considerably lower than the rest.

I ended up buying a digital gauge because a few psi difference in our convertible makes a very noticeable difference in handling. When shopping the manager at a local auto parts store admitted "if you took 8 gauges off of that rack you'd likely get 8 different readings."
Also - the gauges on inflator nozzles for your air compressor can be WAY off in some cases. Same deal, cheaper the less accurate.
