Hello I have a 1995 f150 2x4 300 6 5 speed xl the truck is vary good the engine is excellent as u all now but when I go in grass or mud or snow the traction is not there when the rear opens even on a hill when dry only one wheel spins with out a load on it even just letting out the clutch very soft and no throttle even with 3.08 gears it will pull away on Idol I was looking for a locker for the old ford I now they have many for off road may jeep guys are using now but I'd like to get one for the road were turning is not a mile wide also I cant afford the best but maybe some of u guys may run one with success it doesn't have to be rated for 800 HP to be good the engine makes 150 will appreciate any help thanks.

Ok I'm not trying to be rude but please proofread your next post. Also don't be afraid to use periods haha.
Anyways to answer your question if you're having a problem with traction maybe your tires are the culprit not the differential. I'm sure there are many kinds of locker or limited slip setups out there for your type of rear end but if the tires aren't up to par then all a locker will do is spin both tires instead of one. That's just the way I'm thinking though.

Thanks for the response I do have good ATs tires. They grip good in a straight line but when turning the rear opens.

It's too light in the rear end. Throw 300 lbs in the box and see what happens
