Default No Oil life monitor reading on Sync 3 - 2018 Lariat

Hi. I have a 2018 Lariat 502A spec with Sync 3 installed. Yesterday I was searching for the oil monitor display but couldn't find it. I then looked up some videos and noticed that my version of Sync 3 (under engine information) is missing a line with oil life information. Any ideas suggestions on how to get this information? Do I need to install an update for Sync 3?

thanks.

montesir.

it's not on sync, it's on the productivity display where your gauges are...unless on higher models it's under sync 3 as well?

The owners manual is a great tool.

I did mention in my post that there isn’t a line on oil life in the engine information and I was look in the productivity screen where the gauges are. So it’s probably a software issue with sync?

Sync has nothing to do with it.

The Lariat has the large productivity screen where the gauges are I thought that was linked to Sync as well. Anyway if it's not Sync then what is it? I guess I'll have to take it to the dealership.

I’d say it’s there you are just not looking in the right place. Sync is more the software that lets you hook up your phone.

What sequence are you using to try and find it?

It is on page 348 in the owners manual, under Setting then Convenience then Oil Life Reset
