No heat/AC in cab
I just bought a 2014 F150 XTR. 82k miles, and 12 days out of dealer warranty - heater/a.c. isn't working. The panel lights up yet as normal. Fuses/relays are good.
a mechanic friend said it just needs to be reset with stating truck, change settings, shut off truck, turn key to acc, and change fan settings. I did this. And I hear the controls changing in the dash...but no fan blowing yet. I'm not familiar with the 2014s. Am I missing something? Or is fan unit needing a change?

Senior Member
Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes then try again. Could be the resistor on the blower motor.
