Default nitto vs general

So been looking at budget friendly tires for hopefully the spring and I think I'm down to 2 the nitto terra grappler and the general grabber at2 they would be a 33" anyway my question how do these tires compare to each other in snow, mud, and on other terrains and also average miles gotten out of them

I have the Terra Grapplers. In the rain they are good, i break free on corners sometimes but I also dont take my foot out of it. I just had some snow and ice recently and they did great in them. They are a good all around tire. I want to get something more aggrerssive. I have also heard good things about the AT2's you cant go wrong with either.

I had the Generals on my Chevy Trailblazer. They were awesome tires and didn't have much road noise. I rarely needed in engage 4wd in the snow and they rode well on the highway.

I can't chip in as an owner but as someone who was comparing grabber at2s vs Terra's, iv read many reviews and have heard a lot of complaints about the grabbers on wet pavement, from my old jeep forum to a Tacoma forum that had a long comparison thread on the 2.

Personally I've decided on Terra's after everything I've read. Discounttiredirect has a lot of reviews on both, and last I checked cheaper prices than you listed

It's the same cooperation as Discount Tire, they just operate as two separate entities. Have I ordered from Direct ( the online only version of discount tire ) ? No, I have worked with Discount Tire retail though many times, and I won't do tires any where else.

I was at my local Discount Tire 2 weeks ago comparing treads in person, if there is a price variation from online to retail they will match. That's from the mouth of the head manager.

Edit: I've also never heard anything negative about DTdirect
