new tires soon 275/55/20 ... suggestions?
Hi everyone I'm new here. I will soon have to replace the crap scorpion tires on my '12. I've been looking at a few different brands Michelin, hankook, Goodyear & recently found Mickey Thompson Baja stz. Has anyone tried the MT's? Most of the reviews I've read for them seem to be positive except 1 guy was complaining about them being 4-ply???? Are most tires a different ply?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

IMO what you use your truck for makes a big difference what tires you buy for it.
Just drive on the pavement? Big rock climber? Super bad Winters? etc.
Does gas mileage matter?

I am in the same boat here! Don't know what to get for my 2012 FX4 with 20".
We got 8" of snow in one day here in Nashville this year. I had NItto Terra Grapplers on my Tahoe and I loved them. Kinda want something more aggressive but don't want a lot of road noise.

Exactly. Just bought an 08 that the dealership put brand new tires on, but they are street tires. Getting ready to switch with a friend who bought an 09 with brand new all terrain tires on it. he hates the sound they make, and will never drive the truck off road, I want the all terrains, because I do mild off roading regularly.
