New rotors and pads, black soot covering wheel
Put new rotors and pads on front of 14 XLT. Wagner Thermoquiets. Drove 50 miles into city and front passenger side rotor looks like this. Got home and wheel is covered in black soot.
Ideas? Pads was sitting good cradle, Calipers squeezed down, etc... At a loss.
Guess Ill take it back apart tomorrow and see what the deal is

can the tire be turned easily? If inside pad is on the outside, when the caliper is
bolted down it will cause the top of the pad on the outside to bind on the rotor
just like pictured
