I recently read in another thread on this site how we only read the negative things about our trucks or the dealers that sell/service them. No one of course takes time out of their day to state how well a truck runs, or how well they were handled. In your case, the dealer handled it very well. Kudo's to them.
That is a great point Bucko. I really did have a great experience purchasing my truck. I went to the lot 3 nights in a row looking at different trucks and I could tell on the 3rd night they were determined to close the deal. I was ready to close on the first night but I didn't have my wife with me. I'm not that crazy. By time we finished the test drive and my wife was convinced that we could afford the purchase it was getting kind of late in the night. That could have contributed to the last few price drops. They were just tired of dealing with me. Or maybe they were tired of seeing me walk out without closing a deal.

In some states (Maryland) new vehicles do not require the MSI (Maryland Safety Inspection) until they are sold to the 2nd owners....in some states like Virginia, every vehicle has to get it each year.

Enjoy the new truck and post some pictures. Take the tank of gas and run with it.

Yep, it varies by state and in some cases, municipalities, the dealer I worked at was in Alabama, they don't even have state inspections, at least not back then 93-04. Here in Louisiana it's up to the new owner to drive to the nearest inspection station which is just about every self serve carwash or mini mart/gas station etc within 10 days of purchase.

Misery you are supposed to be given one done in the last 30 days and have 30 days to register.
