Cruise along 5 to 10 mph under the speed limit. As soon as someone passes you, speed up and match their speed. Make sure that you position yourself in their blind spot. Speed up when they speed up, and slow down when they slow down. Don't let them shake you out of their blind spot.

This is also a great time to send a text message.

Pull right out in front of me where I have to slow way down or slam the brakes and then go 10 under the speed limit.

Tailgate me in rush hour traffic in the fast lane...... no matter that I'm running with traffic..... You're pissed because I have five car lengths for stopping not the one length you prefer!

You can't figure why your tailgating doesn't bother me...... You dont notice I always have the rear view mirror turned up, it took me a couple miles to even realise that someone was behind me!

Bad drivers, let me add Albuquerque, NM drivers. The vast majority have no idea how to stay straight in their lane. They love to wander from side to side just to **** me off.

I will clarify my statement about courteous Texas drivers. I have only been in the smaller towns of Texas where the out of towners, and the upwardly mobile don't live. I'm know for a fact that makes a big difference, because they live amongst us in my town.

Had a friend move from here in Utah to Albuquerque about 15 years ago. He said he'd never seen that many daytime drunk drivers and never leave garage open, folks would steal anything not attached at anytime day or night.

well since theres like no traffic here we dont really have all those issues that everyone complains about. only thing that bothers me is when people dont use their blinkers at all. i mean if you're in the turning lane then obviously you are turning so why bother to use blinkers at all?

Speaking of turn signals, I was going to work on my motorcycle the other day. It was a 4 lane road with a middle turn lane in the suburbs. I was in the curb lane when a woman in the 2nd lane cut right in front of me to go in to a McDonalds. I followed her and pulled up next to her in the drive thru line. She rolled down the window and started bellowing at me. I told her politely that she just cut me off on the street. She said "well I had my turn signal on".

Stupid is here in Ohio also.

From Bell county, Texas...
On the interstate,
1) Immediately after passing a vehicle, pull in & slow down 5mph below their speed
2) When in the center lane approaching merging traffic entering the interstate, pull into the right lane to block them
3) Slow down to 35mph to allow merging traffic to enter the interstate (an alternate to rule 2)

Driving in town,
1) It's OK to text, EVERYBODY is doin' it
2) The glacial pace right turn is permitted only during rush hour
3) Left turns from center lanes are encouraged

If everybody else was a perfect driver like me, I'd still find fault with their driving.

1. Stopping in a turn lane well before or after the white line so you don't trigger the turn arrow.
2. Accelerating so slow when the light turns green that only 3 cars make it through the intersection before it changes to red and prevents the other 10 cars from getting through when the light was green.
