Default New F150 based Bronco

So I was just surfing around the web and came across an article about the possibility of Ford offering this in the near future. Has anyone else seen real evidence of this, is it true?

probably not, but since the RR Evoque Cabrio made it to production, anything's possible, right?

I'd like to see an SVT Bronco, that would be badass.

I know there was an Yahoo article conforming a new Bronco around 2020 I don't think it will be F-150 based though. It sounded like they were going to around the size of the original Broncos or a little bigger.

Here's a random article I just found

If they build it I promise I will own one....... That concept Bronco is sick, however if it varies to far off from that design I will pass and just be sad......

Dang that's a long time to wait.............

What worries me is the concept was a nicely photoshopped atlas concept and it says they're basing it off the ranger

There was an April fools prank a few years back about a Bronco being made. It got quite a few people if I remember correctly. Maybe you came across a reference to that?

Also, there is an entire industry of using concept cars/photoshop as bait with leading headlines. Most of it is pure rubbish with nothing but speculation. They get you to click though, and that's all they care about anymore.

Edit: Looks like they are still rehashing that old photoshop of the Raptor front end with a SUV body.

The contract that the UAW just signed has a place in there about bringing 1 or possibly 2 vehicles back to a US based plant. The two that are brought up are the Bronco and Ranger. I would be willing to bet the Ranger will be what's brought back as it's only stopped production in North America. Europe and Australia still have the Ranger. The Bronco would require a lot more tooling to set up, even if it was on the F150 platform. The Ranger already has tooling overseas that they can copy and bring directly into the plant. I started a thread on this a while ago titled "Possible not probable Ranger"

I am a huge fan of the 2-door, full-size SUVs such as the Bronco. I always wanted one as a kid. Sadly, there just isn't a market for them. If Ford brought back a vehicle, it would most likely be the Ranger. Colorado/Canyons, Tacomas and Frontiers are still being produced.

I really hope the 2 door full-size SUVs make a comeback. It looks like Dodge is considering a new Ram Charger as well
