Need opinions on 3 trucks

Want to hear thoughts on newer truck, I’m trading in a ‘12 Fx4 3.5L with 3.73 rear.

• I’ve found a ‘21 lariat Fx4 5.0 3.31 rear with 46k miles(dealer stated a part was changed in tranny due to hard shifting )
• also found a ‘20 lariat sport 3.5L 3.55 rear 29k Miles
Both are pretty much the same price, just trying to figure out which would feel the same or similar power as I am used to. Of course they are all in different states, can’t test drive them all.

The " also found a ‘20 lariat sport 3.5L 3.55 rear 21k Miles " would be my choice, not knowing how it is to be used..

trick question? Guessing the 3.5 will feel the most similar to your 3.5, as compared to the other two non-3.5.

I'd say stick with the 3.5L if you are looking for something similar. The torque curves will feel different between the 5.0 and the 3.5L. I've owned both and prefer the 3.5L (I own the 5.0 now).

no not a trick, ‘12 Eb only has 365/420tq. ‘21 5.0 has 400/410

I would consider mileage, price, options. In that order.

where does the one with the lowest mileage stack up in price? Is it missing any options at you would regret not having?

the ‘21 would be out of the running for me only because of mileage. I have no problem with used vehicles, but try to always keep them around 30k max miles. Current truck had 32k, and that is about my limit these days.

What`s wrong with your current truck?

bed floor is rusting away, looked at bed replacement but they want 6k. But after hearing all the recalls in the ‘21+ and cam phasers in last gen, I may just keep it until their isn’t anything left in the bed. 107k miles and no issues other than the bed and a rear diff leak now.

6k for a 12th gen bed is crazy high. You can buy a complete running driving truck (with Hugh miles) for that.
