Default Need help with my rig !

Hi guys and gals, I have a 99' f250 that I like to take off road every once in a while but am getting really tired of this whole "one tire spinning when I get stuck" bull****.

What exactly do I need to get a true 4x4 ? I keep reading up about lockers and limited slips etc..

My truck is the 5.4 Gas with an auto tranny, please any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather make my rig more of an off road beast than dress her up with chrome and flashy lights.

Cheers !

your best option would be lockers, that way you can engage/disengage when needed. Some are better than others and most all will take some creative routing of lines depending on the lockers. I would go with an Air Locker, the are easier to fix/repair when out on the trail or mud
