I t-boned the other guy right between the front and rear doors. He then hit a 5 ton truck that was waiting to turn left. He said to the cops "I thought I could make it". It happened at Don Mills and Eglinton Ave.

I'm hoping the total it cause I don't want it back! Since I haven't heard anything in a week I was getting worried that they were going to fix it, but hopefully that means there working out a fair settlement.

So I went by the ford dealership today, found a nice 2011 F150 Lariat sterling grey. It has the 5.0 litre and the 3.55 rearend. I think this would be fine for me as I'm going to use it as a daily driver. The only thing I tow is an atv to and from the cottage. The ecoboost is 1k more plus there is an extra 1k off the price of the 5.0 so I don't think I can justify the ecoboost. Not sure if it's worth trying to find an FX4 loaded, or just grab the Lariat?

Any thoughts? Plus and thoughts on my smashed one? Basically anyone think they will fix it?

Thanks

If you don't mind me asking, do they actually give you a fair amount of what your truck's worth? I'm always worried about them not giving me enough to pay for all of my "add-ons."

When my Ranger got totaled earlier this year, they gave me about $7300 for it. It was a 2001 with at least 110k miles on it. I had just replaced the tailgate, and tinted the windows. I thought it was a fair price. It paid for half of my F150

when someone backed into my 96 f150 it was only several hundred from being totaled but they were guna pay me 8k for it since i did a bunch of "car shoping" for trucks like mine and printed them off then showed them to the agent. i only payed 3500 for the thing lol. but 2100 in repairs later its back in my driveway and looks great.

your trucks a total loss, im sorry.

Its hit and miss. i totalled off a 2004 yellow supercrew f150 fx4 package and i had no add ons, all stock with inbetween 140 and 150 thousand k on it and got about 17k for it. im sure if i sold it on kijiji or something i only would have got around 15 maybe 16. but with addons like if you had rims and bushwackers and things like that they dont add that in, just the price of a full appraisal. This waS THROUGH SASKATCHEWANS sgi.

Where you going to the science centre moose? lol. Try Kennedy ford or oakland ford in Oakville or i think its called meadovale ford on Erin Mills pkwy at Battleford road in meadowvale(mississauga). I think thye haVE SOME fx4's. Sorry about the wreck, couple weeks ago during that wind storm we had i had a branch fall off my tree in the back yard and smash my driver side mirror (heat signal autodarkening), 627 from the dealer parts desk and 225 from the local recycling yard.
