Default My old truck is history ... for me.

I've been watching the 2007 F150 FX2 Sport, with 47,000 miles, which I traded for the 2012 STX. I traded it on 6/25, the dealership put it on their site a couple of days later for $18,995.00 ($4,000 more than they gave me). On 7/27, it vanished (sold, I presume). It may show up on the forum, again someday.

When you say vanished, what happen to it? Was it stolen? or what?

Oh okay. Thats good if it is sold. It would be terrible if stolen. Do you have a picture of what you have now?

The picture is in a different thread, I'm sure. 2012 STX RCSB Have added, mirror reflectors and mirror T/S, remote start, tonneau cover and the auto lamps (which, I haven't gotten working, yet!).

Just curious but why did you trade from a supercrew to a single cab?

I no longer needed a SCrew, parking was difficult, side visibility was poor, unless the passenger head rest was removed. It was more like a bus, than a P/U truck. Time to down size. Plus, "everybody, else" has a SCrew!

It's like driving a "sports car"!

Okay cool. That's nice. Looks good too. I'm like the vast majority, I have a screw. I tried out the F150 with the other door config (one where you have to open front door to open back door), I did not like it. I love and need the full 4 doors. Got 2 lil ones still in car seats and stuff. Now I just have to get Northenlabs door detent or what ever its called that I saw on this forum a while ago.

I got my original screw, when my father and step-mother were around (needed). When I traded that, I was looking for a used 4X2 scab, but couldn't find one, so took the 2007 screw.

What I would like to see: is a scab with short bed (5.5 feet) (I think, only Raptor has one) .. the wheel base would fall between regular cab and scab. ??
