It is the price I had to pay.... hopefully not too much more than I would have had to in the USA.

I can't drive a foreign plated vehicle here as a Permanent Resident of Mexico as my immigration status.

It is made in Kentucky, though, on the same truck line but, possibly, with less EPA stuff on it.
Definitely for the diesels... no EPA stuff on them.

Anyway, you can't negotiate with dealers here, go figure.... the only thing non-negotiable in Mexico!

The U.S don't make vehicles without emission standards so you will get the same contractor special any one here would get and pay probably $20,000 at most.

If you can back out I suggest you do so.

Well, actually, they do make the 6.7 liter F250's different for here... no DEF, etc, for the regular diesel here.

Not gonna back out... buying one in the USA and importing it is ridiculously expensive and time consuming.

So, you can get an XL Crew Cab 4x4 in the USA for that kind of money! Wow! $20k.... sheesh!
The website has it at almost $39k for the options I have on it here.
Well, some people bargain better up there than I do, I guess. I can not say, and I bargained hard when I bought vehicles up north, that I ever got that kind of discount.

The price of living in paradise.
I'm happy.

Still, really? You can buy the SuperCrew for under $20? Brand new off the lot? I find that remarkable.

Something close yeah, just depends how much the dealer want's to deal and options. You NEVER pay sticker price. That's MSRP, manufacturer suggested retail price. I can suggest the potato cannons I build are worth $250 but I probably only paid $20 in parts and a little time gluing the pvc together. So I sell them to a local dealer for $50 with a MSRP of $350.

I have to say, go back an re-read. This is one of the few things the manufacture sets price on in Mexico. There is no negotiation.

And, honestly, reading the specs on mine, it looks like it has most of the accoutrements of the XLT, payload, lighting, etc.

Well, whatcha' gonna do.... I live here, I am happy with my price and my purchase!

I would be shocked to see you get this same vehicle for under $20k, especially when the Ford USA site lists it closer to $40k than $20k.
But, you live there, I don't.

Got a link to that US web site and list of options? XL is bottom of the barrel as far as trim levels go, back in 2013 when I bought my XLT well equipped sticker was $34,500, walked out the door with the keys and title for $29,900.
