My bugout F150
#13
Interesting topic. I guess my F150 would be my bugout vehicle. I certainly don't want to face the zombie apocolypse in my wife's minivan!
I've always been a worst-case scenario kind of guy. I've got a supply of water, MRE's, and ammo at home that will get us by for a week or so. I've also got a 5,000w generator and 30-40 gallons of gas at home.
And if things get real bad, I've got one of these with a couple thousand rounds of ammo, so I can get more water, food , and fuel if need be.....
OK, the grenade is a dummy, but don't tell the zombies that.
In my truck I've got my 40cal., tow straps, emergency blankets & ponchos, flashlights, matches, a toolbox, a fire extinguisher, and a big first aid kit.
I'd say I'm somewhat prepared.

I've got various vehicle recovery odds and ends, first aid kit, food and water supplies, and my get home bag in a tool box in my truck. No firearms are kept in the truck as CA law tends to frown on that.
